I stumbled upon your blog accidentally. Alice Miller's books had a profound impact on me many years ago. Then I discovered a forum run by Daniel Mackler called 'Siding with the Child' (doesn't eixst now). You can check his work out on his website http://www.iraresoul.com . Also You Tube and Facebook under his own name.

He is becoming something of a pioneer in the mental health field but I think his first and deepest concerns are about children and child abuse. He is very familiar with Alice Miller and very admiring of her work too but he also crtitques her for not going far enough and for being in denial herself.

I think his work is genius. It is intelligent and uncompromisingly bold and honest - well written without being wordy. There is a beauty in his writings because he puts things across in such a simple, clear and straightforward way. It's like looking into very clear water and I suspect that for some, it's too much clarity, too much information. His site is called iraresoul and Daniel mackler is indeed, a rare soul.

Check out his stuff on you tube - very accessible and just brilliant!!
